Perkins Cove Candies - A Family Tradition
In the summer of 1980, Martin and Fay Fitzgerald opened Perkins Cove Candies in a renovated lobster shack in the back of the cove. It was an immediate success! Due to the overwhelming popularity of the shop, The Fitzgerald's moved to a larger location in Perkins Cove in 1986.
With the help of their daughters, Amy and Erin, the business grew. In 1999, Amy and Erin took over the business. Both Amy and Matt Forbes and Erin and Ryan Peters work together to make the very best chocolates, fudge and salt water taffy.
